SO excited!!

I'm so excited because CHA is coming up and do you know what that means?? All my favorite scrapbooking companies are revealing there latest lines!! To name a few.., I have seen American Crafts, Bella Blvd., My Minds Eye, Cosmo Cricket and my inspiration Teresa Collins!!

Unfortunately, this means bad news for my pocketbook. However, I never regret buying scrapbook stuff that I DON'T need! Haha!

But, lately I have been a really good girl and have been using products and scraps that I already have on my newest layouts! Ugh, and let me tell you..it has not been easy but definitely rewarding!

"artsy lady"

So I had these Melody Ross embellies that I have wanted to use for the longest time and finally found a home for them! Don't you just love them? I love Melody Ross and I also love her blog: http://melodyross.typepad.com/ You should definitely check it out sometime and also sign up for her Brave Girl's Club newsletter to get some up-lifting words everyday in your e-mail..it's actually quite inspirational and one of my favorite things to read everyday!

This layout is of me, scrapbooking away one night when I was not ready to go to sleep! Hence, my name..Night Owl. Considering that we are scrapbookers, I think its important to at least get one layout of yourself scrapbooking. Or maybe a layout about your scrap space, favorite scrap tool or who you scrapbook with!

This summer make it a goal to get at least one layout of scrapbooking in!

I'm committed...

So after much thinking I decided to join Project 365. In case you do not know what Project 365 is, it is a project where you take a photo everday of your life for a year. The purpose is to look back and see the things you probably would have forgotten. Initially, I was apprehensive because I thought I would give up after like 2 days. But I have now been doing it for a month!!

Trust me, it is not easy to think of a new photo to take everyday. But the end result is what I am focusing on. And the way I organize all my photos is by this great website http://shuttercal.com/, you can check out my gallery there and also other people's. The website is totally free, but they do accept donations. ;-)

Check back to my blog because I will be keeping track of my progress (or lack thereof).
